FISHING

Operating as a fishing charter vessel for 21 years, the MV James Cook, skipper and crew can put you onto the fish…...hitting the waters of the Capricorn Bunker Group, with an overnight mooring in the sheltered lagoon of Fitzroy Reef or anchoring in the lee of one of the many reefs on offer.

Nice wide, full walk-around decks and sturdy steel construction makes the James Cook an excellent fishing platform for chasing the prized reef fish on the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

Understanding fisherman’s needs and styles allows us to maximise your enjoyment.

Be sure to bring along a big esky to take your fish home in!
